Quintay harbor

The Quintay village is famous for their seafood. For over 100 years ago Chile started to fish whales from Quintay. This is the place where many sperm whales were caught. Today the harbor is only a tourist attraction with great seafood and with a beautiful surrounding landscape.

Watch out for the beach lion

Monday afternoon i was chillin at the nice beach of Viña del mar just next to Valparaiso. A place for tourists like me. You really need to watch out for bag thiefs. Us sleeping tourists are an easy prey for a hungry young thief. But now, there is one new and far more dangerous threat entering the beach...

Viña indomita

In Casablanca it is possible to experience wine tours a la Chile in one of many mansions. We chosed to visit Viña indomita which is a fairly modern wine producer, started 2001. This tour was everything else but a winner. It really sucked. It would have been better if they would have thrown stones at us or just done something. A good thing though was that the surroundings were beautiful...

After blast ruins

Chile have alot of gas pipes running under the streets and a couple of months ago a real tragagy appeared when a leaking gas pipe exploded. the explosion killed hundreds of people and totally demolished the whole street, except for one thing. This blue cracked wall.

Garbage can a'la Chile

It took me several days to understand what the strange cages were that could be spotted randomly on the streets. Not until i saw this cage filled with garbage i finally got it. Yes!

Wall of art

In the hills of Valparaiso every second wall is covered with some art. The interesting part is that the paintings are very well preserved. I wonder how long a beautifull piece like this one would stay untouched in Sweden?

A stunning view

Valparaiso's landscape is so nice. It doesn't matter where you look it is just stunning. A panorama view from where i stayed.

Creepy or sweety?

Imagine to meet this clown when it's dark and creepy. This was during the day and i still think his creepy...

The streets of Valparaiso

The streets here in Valparaiso is small and bumpy. I'll never burn so many calories walking home from the pub as this place. The beauty stuns...

First night out

My first night out was good fun with some locals. Un grande cerveza por favor.

Richard in Chile

My first time in south America and Chile. Can it be much better to be greeted by hot chicks from Norway and Sweden? Por favor!

Price the forbidden city...

Day 5: i had only a couple of hours left in Beijing so i decided to run through the forbidden city just before i had to return back to Sweden. At least i was able to get one cool shot before i left. What do you think?

Coolest vehicle

This piece of machinery can speed up to like 50 km/h and carry 2 people. A really fun machine that you need to try if you ever get the chance. Do not be scared, it is supposed to vibrate heavily...

The great wall of China

Day 4: Walking the greatest wall and building ever made was simply amazing. The sky was clear and the sun was keeping me warm. Sweet!
